Growing up, I would impatiently wait for my dad and brothers to return from their day of hunting so I could live out their hunt through their stories. Once I was able to hunt, I shared my own stories and I realized that telling the story was literally like reliving that moment. The highs, the lows, the rabbits, the birds, the turkey and the deer. Everything and the hunt itself came back to life when I told the stories. My heart would race again and I could feel the shakes of excitement. It didn’t matter where we wre, around the kitchen table, at the tailgate of a truck or at the diner getting a $3 breakfast before we headed out for another hunt. This podcast was started as a place we can all continue to tell our hunting stories.
